Faith was the lady who served breakfast and was super friendly, very helpful and treated me like royalty she was one of my favorite people In the facility, however after 11pm, they lock the doors they post a sign on the door, which is barely legible that says you have to use your room key to enter. I knocked On the door to be let in, security was too busy on the phone and a guest had to advised that a a guest is trying to enter. The security had to find front guest service to let me in. When he arrived at the door I was greeted by a gentleman named Iqbal Who was super rude, very aggressive, who literally peeled off the sign from the door and said can you not read? It says that you have to use your room key to open the door I explained I’m sorry I missed the sign and was NOT told when I checked in about the rules of after 11pm having to use your room key to enter the facility. He continue to be rude, and continue yell at me. I was floored by the rudeness and the lack of customer service at this venue. I will never stay here again

Our first room was next to the stairs but we were moved to a different room for the further three nights… very comfortable good location .. staff very helpful to direct us to different activities around and guide us … however previous knowledge on the refugee situation would’ve been useful - as a female I did feel quite threatened at times…thank you

This was the worst Marriott hotel stay. We were not aware at the time of booking that this is where they house refugees. The staff is unfriendly and the hotel smelled like cabbage. The area it was located didn’t seem safe. We stayed 1 night and moved the following day to the Fairmont in Montreal! So happy we did that!

There is Home cooking and I love to eat!!!!!This is a big differences from other hotels.Plenty choice of soft coldI drinks! !!! Good quality of mattresses! We spent at the hotel two weeks and I slept like at home. In general, everything is clean and tidy, which is very important for me. I definitely recommend it! Oleksandr Serbin

Stayed for 4 nights and it’s was a great stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Montreal Downtown, A 2-minute walk from Berri-UQAM metro station, And in the city centre is 18 minutes on foot from the 19th-century Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal and 4 km from city views at Mount Royal.. location wise is perfect 🤩 Front desk staff are all friendly , helpful and accommodating 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Rooms - spotless and comfy bed I could say’. And pretty decent size for two people with a two queen size bed Gym is 24hrs open Laundry service is available Strong Wifi 🛜 which is great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Breakfast- is okay, not much selections of hot dishes and cold cuts but sufficient enough to start your day 👍🏻 Highly recommended whose visiting Montreal 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻worth it 😊
